Sandy Fabritz is the Director of Water Policy at Freeport‑McMoRan, a role she has held since 2014, with more than three decades of experience in Arizona water resources and policy. She previously served with the Arizona Department of Water Resources, including as Director from 2011 to 2014 and Assistant Director for Water Management from 2003 to 2011, and earlier as a Water Resources Specialist and Manager. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources from Arizona State University.

Phoenix based Freeport-McMoRan is a Fortune 200 company and one of the largest mining companies in the world. It traces its roots back to 1834.  It currently has 5 major operations in Arizona, mining copper and molybdenum.https://www.fcx.com/

Steve Trussell, Ariz Rock Products Cement Feb 24, 2026

Trussell joined Arizona Rock Products Association (ARPA) in 2002 as Community Relations Director and became the Executive Director in 2007.  He is responsible for the promotion and preservation of the sustainability of the rock & construction materials industry through active involvement with Arizona public officials on the policy, regulatory and community relations challenges facing the rock products industry.  In 2017, Trussell added to his responsibilities by becoming the Executive Director of the Arizona Mining Association where he showcases his advocacy for the mining industry and utilizes his skills in community relations, government affairs, regulatory processes and general legislative processes at the federal, state and local level. He has served on several boards and committees including the Technical Advisory Board for the Center of Environmentally Sustainable Mining, The Governor's Regulatory Review Council, Executive Committee for the University of Arizona's Mining School and the Board of Directors for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry to name a few.

Mr. Rabindranath is Executive Director of Steelbridge Ministries. He will be speaking about Buckeye's Natalie's House.

Natalie's House

The mission of Natalie's House is to maintain the goals of APECA (Arizonan's For the Protection of Expolited Children and Adults). Natalie’s House protects girls from sexual exploitation and abuse by giving them a place of protection. At Natalie’s House, these young women can recover while being given the mental tools to thrive and regain vibrancy when returning to their lives.

APECA’s eight-bed home in Arizona can offer a safe haven for girls (ages 4 to 14) recovering from sexual exploitation and abuse.

Girls at Natalie’s House receive shelter, food and clothing. An intensive recovery program is offered which customs/includes outings and educational strategies to assist them in making the transition to a normal, healthy life.
