President's Message
As I step into the privilege of serving as your Club President for the 2026-2027 year, I am filled with immense gratitude for the incredible community we call home and the dedicated members who make our club so vibrant.
Rotary guiding theme for this year is "Create Lasting Impact."
To me, creating a lasting impact means looking at the challenges around us not just as problems to solve today, but as opportunities to build sustainable, positive change for tomorrow. We achieve this by rolling up our sleeves, working together, and pouring our hearts into everything we do—whether right here in Buckeye or across the globe.
Making a Difference at Home
Here in the Buckeye community, our dedication to service is local and personal. We are proud to continue our major support of All Faith Community Services, ensuring our neighbors have the vital resources and support they need to thrive. Through our hands-on local service projects, we aim to strengthen the fabric of our community and leave a legacy of kindness, growth, and resilience.
Changing the World Abroad
Our vision doesn't stop at our borders. As part of a global network of 1.4 million changemakers, the Verrado Rotary Club remains fiercely committed to our international focus: the global eradication of polio. We are closer than ever to a polio-free world, and this year, we will continue to advocate, fund raise, and raise awareness until the job is done.
Together, let’s make 2026-2027 a year of connection, purposeful service, and lasting impact.
With gratitude and excitement,
Deb Burton
President, Verrado Rotary Club (2026-2027)
